April 22,2010, the Atlanta Photographic Society had it's 40th anniversary celebration and program. Julian Cox, Photography Curator at Atlanta’s High Museum was keynote speaker. Julian discussed photographic art in the digital age.

The celebration showcased an exhibit of winning images submitted by club members over the past 40 years. A competition among these images earned Roy Gordon the Best in Show and an anniversary medallion.
